How to Take Paintball to a Whole New Level

Most people know about paintball, and many have played it in one form or another. It can be a fun and exciting experience. Usually paintball involves people, paintball guns, and a lot of colorful paint. However, you can now enjoy paintball in a whole new way: by playing it in a tank. Yep, tank paintball is a reality, and many places offering the ‘day in a tank’ experience have a form of it that they offer. There are a couple of different styles of it, but both have great appeal.

The first style involves mini-tanks. These small tiger tanks drive just like a real tank, with similar controls and handling. They are smaller, of course, and the balls they fire are basically the same as standard paintball rounds. The paint may hit you or the tank, but either way it will be a fun time that you won’t soon forget

Another type of tank paintball is Tankball. This paintball variation is relatively new and currently is only available in one place, Leicestershire, England. This amazing experience features full-size tanks that fire either paint-filled ping pong balls, nerf rockets, or paint buckshot at other tanks. These paint balls are 40mm in diameter, and Tankball must be played with the tank hatches closed as these rounds are fired with a high level of force and would be dangerous if they hit people directly. You get the chance to not only drive a tank but also target other tanks using the periscope and fire on them with the paintball rounds.  You can choose to be the driver or the gunner, and you and your friend can take turns so you get to experience both.

Whichever style you choose, you’re in for a great day of fun, and it’s sure to be a day that you will remember for a long time to come. Be sure you do your homework before choosing your experience. You need to make sure that you choose the one that fits both your budget and your physical abilities. Driving the big tanks is not for the faint of heart, so just be sure your’re prepare before you take the plunge. If not, start with the smaller paint ball tanks and work your way up to the big boys. Either way, you’re sure to have an exciting and memorable day on the paint ball battlefield.
